How often do you work out: 6-7 days week

What type of works do you do and what are your daily routine: I’m the mixed martial artist of workouts. My workouts vary from set to set, rep to rep. When I set specific routines I follow a two week cycle of muscle isolations, superset two different muscle groupings, plyometrics and Olympic lifts.

Which gyms do you go to: LA FITNESS/ EDGE FITNESS

What does your diet consist of: 5 size varied daily meals (I try to stay away from fried foods). On the weekends, I fast until 3 pm then have only 1 full meal a long with drinking fluids throughout the day.

Do you have any tattoos: Yes

If so how many: 3

How old were you when you got your first tattoo: 18

What is your least favorite tattoo and why: A tribal tat on my right arm because it was a rush tattoo that looked better in my head. I wanted something but didn’t really know what so I got anything.

What is your favorite tattoo: I have two arms on my back positioned as if they’re arm wrestling, one wrist is cuffed with a hanging chain and the other is free. It represents my brother and I.

What do you want the world to know about your gym life: My gym life began after several life changing events which started in December of 2003 (including my coming worst college football season). I received a phone call from my brother early one morning telling me to leave the house. I later found out that he killed someone he was feuding with over an altercation. Several “street codes” were broken and that was the outcome. Being extremely close to the deceased family was and still is difficult for me. Following that, my aunt suddenly passed away from a heart condition, all while I was going through a breakup. I began to lose a lot of weight from stress and my anger drove me to be someone else. I needed an outlet, a way to release and get myself back on track physically, however, it turned out to also help me mentally and emotionally. Life made me lift now I’m lifting for life!!!!!
